Radisson launches ChatGPT-powered app to simplify hotel search and booking.

Radisson Hotel Group has introduced a new ChatGPT-powered hotel booking experience, allowing travelers to search, compare, and discover hotels through natural conversations with artificial intelligence.

Developed in partnership with Accenture, the new app available as @RadissonHotels on ChatGPT, enables users to explore more than 1,000 Radisson properties across over 100 countries without navigating traditional hotel booking websites.

Instead, travelers can simply describe what they’re looking for in plain language and receive personalized hotel recommendations, complete with live room rates, amenities, availability, and location details.

How the AI-powered booking experience works

The new ChatGPT app allows users to begin a conversation by mentioning @RadissonHotels and describing their travel needs.

For example, users can ask for:

  • A family-friendly hotel in Amsterdam
  • A hotel near the Eiffel Tower with a spa and gym
  • Business accommodation close to an airport
  • Luxury resorts with specific amenities

The AI then recommends suitable Radisson properties, displays real-time pricing, hotel features, interactive maps, and room availability before directing users to the official Radisson website to complete their booking.

Radisson embraces AI-driven travel planning

The launch reflects the growing shift toward AI-assisted travel planning, as more travelers rely on conversational AI to research destinations, compare accommodation options, and make purchasing decisions.

According to Radisson, the initiative forms part of its broader strategy to improve hotel discovery through AI conversations rather than depending solely on traditional search engines and online travel agencies.

The company describes the approach as “agentic commerce,” where AI actively helps customers discover, compare, and select products through natural conversations.

Gianni Di Fede, Chief Commercial Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, said the hospitality industry is entering a new era where artificial intelligence is reshaping how guests search for and book accommodations.

He noted that the partnership with Accenture enables Radisson to meet travelers at the planning stage with an experience designed to make hotel discovery faster, simpler, and more personalized.

More AI features are on the way

The ChatGPT integration connects directly to Radisson’s hotel systems, ensuring customers receive real-time information on pricing, room availability, and property details.

Looking ahead, Radisson and Accenture plan to expand the platform with additional capabilities, including:

  • Personalized hotel recommendations
  • Loyalty program recognition
  • Reservation management
  • Trip modifications
  • AI-powered concierge services

The solution was developed using Accenture’s AI Merchant Center, a platform that helps businesses optimize their products and services for AI-driven discovery.

AI continues to reshape the travel industry

The launch comes as travel companies increasingly adapt to changing consumer behavior driven by artificial intelligence.

According to Accenture Consumer Pulse Research, 87% of travelers are open to using AI travel assistants to discover accommodation and plan trips, while 71% expect AI to influence at least half of their spending on hotels and airlines over the next year.

As AI assistants become a key starting point for travel planning, hospitality brands are increasingly investing in conversational experiences that make discovering and booking hotels faster, smarter, and more personalized.
